14 year old girl who loves to baby-sit, loves children and doesn't ask for much money. Baby-sits often, and always around children because of teaching a ballet class for five and six year old girls. Available almost always. Even tempered, playful and careful.
Skills
Communicating with the children
I always talk to them like they are adults, so they don't feel like "little kids."
I always let them help me make snacks, etc. so they feel as if they're helping.
I love to play games and things with the children to make sure they're it's fun and safe, too.
I don't act like "the boss". I act like a friend.
Baby-sitters course
I took the Kinnette's baby-sitter's course last year and learned about all the safety procedures.
I can prevent choking, I can do CPR and much more.
If you have a pool, I am an excellent swimmer in case of an accident.
Education
I attended Arthur Meighen school from grades 4-8.
In September I will enter grade nine at DCVI.
Honors
I got four awards for one of my web sites.
At my grade eight graduation I recieved the Jackie Noble awatd for Music, Visual Arts and Drama.
I won first place in an amateur golf tournament for children in 1993.
Activities
Taught a ballet class for young girls, which was a wonderful experience.
Took five dance classes a week last year but am only taking two next year due to lack of time.
I was in the St. Marys Children's Choir for five years and I am taking vocal coaching in fall again.
I recently took a self-defense course, which was entertaining and informative.
I love the internet, and I have three of my own large web sites.
